Two J’s Metalwork’s are a structural steel company based in East Sussex. We work all over the south east of the UK, designing bespoke steel structures for many different size of project. Whether it is a large scale modern building, or a one off small project. We have a great deal of experience in working with property developers, building contractors as well as sole traders or individuals who may be looking for steels.
With many private property refurbishments, walls will most likely be taken down and spaces enlarged. Many homeowners are staying put and opening up the space within their home to possibly incorporate a growing family. In existing properties this will nearly always mean steels will be required for support, which is where we get involved.
Working on new builds or period properties, we have the knowledge & experience to produce the highest quality steelwork. Working alongside you, to produce structures that all parties are satisfied with. Our team has years of experience both in the work shop but also installing the steelwork.
For external offices, garages, workshops and more, from as little as a hand drawn sketch, we can create detailed drawings for your design. If needs be, one of our surveyors will come to measure the project. Then our draughtsman will be directly in contact with you, to ensure a smooth and effective working relationship moving forwards.
Planning your project

As part of our service we can offer site welding and alterations to steelwork. Each team are fully prepared with welding equipment and covered by coding’s, weld testing and certifications to suit.
Where necessary, we also offer site surveys to provide risk assessments, method statements and lifting plans by our authorised persons.
Due to our large stock holding we can also offer many section sizes cut to length and an extremely fast turnaround. We will provide you with your steels for your project with all the required fixings. Including any chemical anchors for fixing down to concrete foundations/padstones.
