Two J’s Metalwork’s expertise lies in the fabrication of large scale structural steelwork. We have a great deal of experience in working with property developers to design and manufacture bespoke steels, perfect for many different sizes of building project.
With many property refurbishments or developments, walls will be taken down and spaces enlarged. In existing properties this will nearly always mean steels will be required for support, which is where we come in.
We are able to produce the highest quality steelwork, working alongside property developers, to produce structures that all parties are satisfied with. Our team has years of experience both in the work shop but also installing the steelwork.
Planning the project
From as little as a hand drawn sketch, we can create detailed drawings for your design. If needs be, one of our surveyors will come to measure the project. Then our draughtsman will be directly in contact with the client, to ensure a smooth and effective working relationship moving forwards.
Every project is modelled using the latest structural steel CAD package. The software allows us to visualize the project come together and we can use it to generate detailed general arrangement drawings which we send to all the relevant parties. This ensures that everyone involved is given the chance to see the finished construction ahead of time.
Once every party is happy, we can use the software to pull fabrication drawings directly from the model which ensures that the parts fit together like a big puzzle.
Our trusted installation team have many years’ experience in the industry, delivering an efficient and professional service to all our customers. As part of our service we can offer site welding and alterations to steelwork. Each team are fully prepared with welding equipment and covered by coding’s, weld testing and certifications to suit.
Where necessary, we also offer site surveys to provide risk assessments, method statements and lifting plans by our authorised persons.

Due to our large stock holding we can also offer many section sizes cut to length and an extremely fast turnaround. We will provide you with your steels for your project with all the required fixings. Including any chemical anchors for fixing down to concrete foundations/padstones. You will also receive a comprehensive drawing package as an aid to help the installation go as smoothly as possible.
