We are able to produce the highest quality steelwork, working alongside building contractors and clients to produce structural steelwork that all parties are satisfied with. Providing direct, effective communication between our team and yours eliminates the chances of measurement misinterpretation. Our team has years of experience both in the work shop but also installing the steelwork.
Structural steel for large projects
We have the expertise to adjust fabrication to benefit the installation process. This eliminates any delays on site and ensuring a quick and easy assembly. Backing up our experience is the fact that all our processes comply with CE Marking BS EN 1090. Here at Two J’s Metalwork, we have not only the facilities but also the ability to deliver high quality bespoke steelwork every time.
We have a large open floor plan workshop with 2 overhead cranes This allows us to operate large section sizes weighing anything up to one tonne per individual beam. The team has years of experience being both in the workshop and out on site installing the steelwork.
Planning the project
From as little as a hand drawn sketch, we can create detailed drawings for your design. If needs be, one of our surveyors will come to measure the project. Then our draughtsman will be directly in contact with the client, to ensure a smooth and effective working relationship moving forwards.
Every project is modelled using the latest structural steel CAD package. The software allows us to visualise the project come together and we can use it to generate detailed general arrangement drawings which we send to all the relevant parties. This ensures that everyone involved is given the chance to see the finished construction ahead of time. Once every party is happy, we can use the software to pull fabrication drawings directly from the model which ensures that the parts fit together like a big puzzle.

Our trusted installation team have many years’ experience in the industry, delivering an efficient and professional service to all our customers. As part of our service we can offer site welding and alterations to steelwork. Each team are fully prepared with welding equipment and covered by coding’s, weld testing and certifications to suit. We also offer site surveys to provide risk assessments, method statements and lifting plans by our authorised persons.
We will provide you with your steels for your project with all the required fixings. Including any chemical anchors for fixing down to concrete foundations/padstones. You will also receive a comprehensive drawing package as an aid to help the installation go as smoothly as possible.
Our involvement need not end upon delivery and anything extra you need to complete your build can be added to the bespoke model that we have already created for you, helping to maintain the accuracy for your build.
