Steel Joists
Whether it’s one individual steel beam or multiple joists you require, we can get them cut and drilled to suit your needs with short lead times. For many of our builders they just require a plain beam with a possible addition of timber fixing holes. Once cut and drilled we usually coat our steelwork in a red or grey high build zinc phosphate primer to protect it from the elements. This is an adequate finish for steelwork that is going to be built into a structure and sheltered but any exposed steelwork needs to be hot dip galvanized giving the steelwork a bright zinc coating.
